Worthy of Care with Rachael Hunt Elmore LCMHC-S

Do you know that you don't have to figure out your worth? God has already declared your worth, from the very beginning. After God created people, He looked at his handy work and declared them GOOD. All good. That means when God looks at you - today - with your messy hair and your same sweatshirt life - God stills says... dang that's good!

(Kind of like I said "dang that's good" when I took a swig of this swanky mid-afternoon treat Rachael recommended for low cost self-care - cut up lemon and lemon/lime sparkling water).

Episode 8 drops tomorrow morning. Rachael Hunt Elmore is my incredible guest. In addition to being a fulltime mom, wife and practicing counselor, she is finishing up her manuscript for her first book, A Mom is Born and speaking in a variety of places to share her wisdom around motherhood. For this pod, she showed up to talk about the power and promise for change in our lives, the shift that happens when we accept the promise of our worth, key tips for how to find the right fit when you are ready to meet with a counselor, and my favorite bit of all - three minute and low cost self-care. This episode is for everybody - moms and non-moms alike. I’ll say it a million times, but everybody deserves a counselor and we can all benefit from the wisdom of Racheal.

Listen as early as tomorrow and you too will benefit from Rachael's beautiful wisdom. Whether you're a new mom, a mom that's been at this for a few years, a grandma or really anyone at all that's not even a mom - you'll get to know and appreciate the gifts Rachael is bringing to this world.
